The world’s ever-changing population is experiencing an increase in life expectancy. These concerns are shaping practices in the medical field, in the environment, and the care of our growing population of elderly and youth. The Health & Human Services Academy attracts students who are interested in health, wellness, and serving the human population for a better tomorrow. This Academy emphasizes skills in problem solving, critical thinking, communications, team work, service learning and leadership.
In the Biomedicine Pathway students gain knowledge and experience in various medical and health careers.
The Health & Exercise Physiology Pathway is for students interested in health-related careers that require a good understanding of the human body, nutrition, wellness and medicine.
The Human Services Pathway covers a wide variety of careers that require specific certification, licensure and/or apprenticeship within the industry.
