Hello! Here’s some basic info about me:
I have been a classroom teacher for 16 years. I was born and raised in the Midwest in the great state of Ohio. After receiving my first bachelors degree from the University of Dayton in Ohio, my path led me out West to Arizona. This is where I started my teaching degree as well as received my second Bachelors of Science in Art Education. I continued teaching high school math and photography in Sedona, Arizona where I met my husband. After getting married in 2007, my path finally led me to the beautiful state of Colorado. I am now in my 8th year at GMHS and 16 years teaching overall.
When I’m not teaching, I love being outdoors… running, biking, skiing, gardening, hiking, camping, photographing, traveling, attending outdoor concerts and spending time with friends, family, my husband and 2 dogs, Taya and Charlie.
