Career Explorations – Job Training Skills – Brew Crew which is GMHS’s own coffee business.
Study Skills – Time management, organizational skills, independent math supplement, time for teacher to help students with their homework
Foundations Math – Comprehensive coverage of basic math skills needed for everyday living. This class will help prepare students with the life skills needed for independent living.
Consumer Math – Learning consumer math skills that will be used every day of a student’s life at home, at school, an on the job.
Employability Skills – In this class students learn about themselves, their strengths, interests, and to set goals. They also learn important skills to get and keep a job, navigate the process for enrollment into college, as well as become a productive and important member of the community. By learning these things, they will take action toward the future they want to create.
My name is Kristin Feth and I have been teaching students with special needs for 17 years with 14 of them in Jefferson County. I have also taught in New Jersey and California. I developed the Unified Basketball team at GMHS and enjoy working with these amazing athletes. I am a certified 1st degree black belt in Tae-Kwan-Do and continue to exercise through kick boxing. I have two children in college, a wonderful husband a beagle and a lab that keep me very busy.
