I teach Earth science as well as environmental science. I am incredibly passionate about the subjects that I teach and that comes across to my students. We live on this Earth and I find it extremely important that we all learn how to take care of our most valuable resource. I run a paperless classroom so students will also walk away with a solid base in computer usage as well.
I grew up in Amish country in Pennsylvania and moved around a bunch to follow my dream of mountain biking before landing in Denver permanently in 1996. I am married to an Earth Science teacher at the Colorado School of Mines so we base our vacations around interesting geologic locations which our 2 kids don’t really love. I have been teaching since 2001 and have been here at GM since 2002.
